I had the idea for this wallpaper as soon as I saw the scan. The clothes on the girl were already so scenic that I wanted to try making the background design using only elements that were on her clothing. I re-drew many of the pieces from her clothes and just created a flowing kind of wavy background that still subtly gives you the impression of a cloth design and styled it accordingly. :3
