Fullmetal Alchemist
I've finally made one with the bad guys! XD I had the idea pretty early on, but I was really meticulous about the details. My theme was 7 (seven deadly sins, and seven years bad luck when you break a mirror), and I didn't want to text it out, since most people could figure it out from the imagery. I made everything in the background except the anime characters, so I definitely feel good about it ^^

For this wallpaper, I had a lot of reconstruction to do as well from the scan since it was text covered and cut off [original]. My general idea though was how Roy changed the direction of the Elric brothers' lives after their alchemy failure. So it's like... leaving things behind. :o And yes, Roy looks hot. ;D

Most of the work in this wall went into keeping it looking as much like the original calendar image as possible. I re-did the alchemy light effects, the rain, and the water drop motion so that I could place it on my expanded version of the background. Made a few buildings, and tah-dah! I just love the fight scenes in this show ^^

This background was made entirely from scratch. I did the painting for most of the background (except the train) in OpenCanvas. I used Photoshop for the train. Even the characters took a ton of time preparing, Hawkeye was scanned from an 8 panel poster, and Roy and Hughes had no legs to start out! I'm just glad it turned out like I wanted ^^
