Mo, forgot to update over the weekend, and I've got chocolate on my pants >_< It's just one of those days, ya know? Fortunately, it didn't affect my walling... I think. So new for you today, another Tsukihime wallpaper! This one features both Aruceid and Ciel. I actually changed the original face on Aruceid to something more... subdued cause it was giving the kiddies at Anime Layer nightmares ^.~
I thought you'd like to know, it doesn't feel like Christmas in China. Nobody exploits birthdays better than the good ol' US of A!

So, one new wallpaper addition today: Maburaho! I've actually been watching the show, and while it seems like a total Harry Potter/DNAª rip off, the characters are pretty :3 And that's enough to convince me to do a wall. And it's got all three girls in it.

Today's addition is a Christmas Ai Yori Aoshi wallpaper. That's right, not X-mas, Christmas! She's super-sexy standing all alone on the beach, just waiting for you! ^_~
Oh, and I've added a Natural Grass tutorial. The end results of this one are much nicer than the previous tutorial I had up.

Well, after months of hardly working, this site is finally back up! First off, I'd like to thank those of you who constantly pressured me into putting the site back up---without you, I can guarantee I wouldn't have even bothered. Anyone who says they can fight peer pressure is FOS! ;D
To the right, you can get the scoop and stuff, this section is just for site updates! So let me tell you what's new. First off, better tutorials. I find Shinta's picture method to be much easier to follow, so that's how I'll make all my tutorials from now on. You can see it in action on the two new tutorials: Fairy Lights and Magic Talisman.
And finally, the walls! I've actually managed to work on 4 walls since the site went offline in September. The oldest features a sinister looking Dio from Last Exile, made in September. In October, I got swept up into the Tsukihime-hype after watching the trailer, so that's where that one comes from. On a side note, I'm still enjoying that series :D In November, I went back to the tried and true classic: Kiddy Grade. Oh yeah, Dolvergr, oh yeah. And finally, the most recent wall is from a collaboration between me and Bantam from The Professional-esque anime, Gunslinger Girl.

It's Evangelion week here at Ningen.tk! To celebrate, I've added a new Western-themed Evangelion wall, along with three new Evangelion PSDs, featuring Misato, Rei and Asuka. Check out the little EVA battle in the background ^_~

New Kiddy Grade wallpaper featuring Tweedledee! Also, new PSDs from Ikkitousen, Magikarte Komugi, and Bubblegum Crisis. People did very cool things with the last ones ^^ Abstract Anime is also back and re-vamped with some gorgeous new wallpapers (I love the Ai Yori Aoshi one), so check it out! And check out Shinta's new butterfly effects tutorial!
In other news, I'm going to be moving on August 22, so I'm likely going to be without computer and internet for a while. Not to mention, I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to keep up with the site with my new job right away. Just some fair warning, hopefully I won't disappear completely, but if I'm slow to reply, you know why ;D

And interestingly enough, I managed to make a new wallpaper during all this. It's from the relatively new series, Wandaba Style. I enjoyed the coloring of the image, so I decided to wall it ^_^

New links to check out! Redxxii's re-vamped and re-stocked his gallery with cool Mahoromatic and Vandread wallpapers and Bantam's site Banime has resurrected some classic wallpaper artists: the ever-so-sexy Almighty-Baka and Phong!

I've added a new tutorial for this update. It's a quick and easy way to make grass in Photoshop 7.0 if you're looking to do a scenic type background. Also, I've done another Wolf's Rain background, this one featuring Cheza. I actually really love the way this one turned out.

Wow, I totally apologize for a month of practically no updates. >_< But to make up for it, I'll update a couple more times this week with a summertime theme ^_~! Yay! I've finally made a wallpaper from one of my most favorite series as of late: Princess Tutu! I based the background off the scene in the opening sequence, and ultimately decided not to text it, cause it really turned out they way I wanted it ^_^ Oh, and the image was uploaded by ringohana from Project Zen! Funny how I always seem to have a gap in the middle of the month... Also, new media--it's the opening from Last Exile! And today's PSD is actually one I've used before (got lazy ^_^;). Yep, more Kiddy Grade for you maniacs.

Daylight savings sucks. :D New Kiddy Grade wall today, this one features Eclair in her second form in the series. And, there's also a new video download, once again from Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto. This time, it's a lovely music video made by Maria from Chocofansubs, set to the song "Return to Innocence." It's a real treat!

Well, no new wall today, but there is a new scan and a few things to mention. First off the scan is from the Megami Volume #34 insert booklet and it features the lovely Mahoro and Minawa ^^ Yah, you know you can re-CG that line ;P

Just cause I don't think I'll have much time to update this week, I figure I'll put something together for right now ;P Anyhow, today's wallpaper is from Spiral, the really cool detective series ^^ It's a group picture with most of the main characters pretending to be voice actors. And I updated the scan, this one's from Angel's Tail. It's a really sweet pic of the three older girls.
And yes, Kiddy Grade is an awesome series. Really, see it if you have the chance :D

So like, new wallpaper dudes! :D This one features Chise from Saikano. I really think this is the most beautiful picture from this series. But I think I want to do some more o_O But walling will have to wait, because my current goal is to finish watching Kiddy Grade--episode 24 came out a couple days ago, so it's officially complete. Be on the look out for more walls for that series. ;P

Oi! It's been a week! ^^; Ah well, I've made a couple of new wallpapers, but I've only got one ready for today: It's from Last Exile, an anime series that will be premiering in April. It's by Gonzo, the same group that brought you series like Kiddy Grade and Vandread!
And since I've been uploading so many scans to Project Zen, I think I'll be cutting out the image of the day. So, if you want some cool pictures I scan, you have to go to Project Zen---the only interactive anime image gallery I've ever seen!

Today's wall is of Kira Yamato from Gundam Seed. I seriously only bought March's Animage for that picture alone ^^; I put up the ending mp3 from Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu. The song is called "Under the Blue Sky" and it's a really good song by The Indigo. On a side note, Project Zen is constantly updating its gallery, and yesterday I uploaded a bunch of Chobits scans from the artbook ^^ Come visit!

Man, have I got some crazy updates. Here's the new place where lots of veteran and up-and-coming wallpaper artists are sharing design tips, scans, and friendly chit-chat! It's really awesome, I totally encourage everyone who visits here to join--and not be shy! Really, everyone's totally friendly, it's worth it. My Chobits: For Your Eyes Only illustrations book came in today ^_^ It's really, really gorgeous! I'm totally gonna make some walls from it for next week, since all I even have to do is scan it! I'll start a little CLAMP section for it. Check out the PSD download as the image of the day! It's a pre-cleaned and cut image for y'all to use in a wallpaper. The character is that blue-haired boy from Gravion. And I sized it to be used in a 1600x1200 wall ^_^

This is my twinge-of-guilt-for-being-a-bad-updater update ^_^; So I updated the anime download and the scan. Currently you can check out the opening for the new series, Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu, or also known as Someday's Dreamers. It's a really sweet series airing right now, kind of Harry Potter-esque. I just love the song for the opening either way ^^ And for the scan, it's a gorgeous image from the .hack//SIGN video game. I'm gonna be working on adding a few things to the site over the next few days, and I'm getting rid of the wallpaper submission feature--I'm too lazy for it ^^; I'll think of something else...

Ah ha! Almost forgot about this. So today's new wall is from Ai Yori Aoshi, and somehow, I managed to wall the one image from this series that has no fan-service in it! ;P Oh, and today's featured guest is a treat! It's a lovely Pita-Ten wallpaper in 1600x1200 from Mikomi! And finally, I'm going to stop doing the image of the day thing--instead, I'm going to put up a gallery of like 10-12 themed images that I'll rotate like every 2 weeks. In the long run, you'll be getting more than if I tried to update it "regularly." And I'll check to make sure I'm not repeating stuff that's already up at like other popular galleries. La, so wait a couple days on that, first round: Inuyasha! But I'm open for suggestions...

Suffice to say, school finally caught up with me -_- But there is a new wallpaper for today, once again from Rahxephon! This one features Asahina and Mamoru along with Ayato. It felt good to get back to re-CGing images and doing my own backgrounds again ^^
Today's clip was a request, it's the second opening from Gundam Seed which started around episode 13 or 14. And the scan is from Sister Princess Re-pure, featuring two girls whose name's I didn't try to find out ^^; Ah right, and since I haven't received a submission recently, I put up a Gatekeepers wallpaper I downloaded a long time ago from net-charabang.

For the anime download, I picked a scene from the amazing series Princess Tutu! I love this part because it's when Ahiru first remembers she's Princess Tutu in order to rescue Mute and the whole time, the Waltz of the Flowers is playing the the background. If anything, it'll just make you want to learn more about the series ^_~ And today's featured guest is Anarchy with an eerie blue-themed Rei Ayanami wall. And for the image of the day, this scan came from Newtype USA, and it features Tsume from Wolf's Rain ^^

One good image from the Newtype USA issue actually. Just perked it up a bit, so the new wall is from Rahxephon! I'd seen the picture before in the Japanese Newtypes, but first it was text covered, and the second time it was a postcard. But this time, it was about half a page and clean, so not bad ^^

Updates all over! First off, I've added a new wallpaper from .hack//Udeden (or .hack//Bracelet, is what I think they're calling it on the fansubs). It features a nice, wintry scene with the characters snowboarding and skiing ^_^
On your right, you'll see the new featured guest, Aer0! He's made a stylish FLCL wall featuring Canti, using various shades of blue that really look great together. There's also a new anime OP, this one was a request! It's the second opening from Groove Adventurer Rave, featuring the song "Higher." I finished the .hack//SIGN wallpaper I'd been working on for a while. It features Subaru, and while I didn't really like the series, I totally loved her character design ^^

Looks like I spoke too soon ^^; Update on the media stuff again--you can download the anime opening to Wolf's Rain and there's also a new scan, this one features Inuyasha in human form--it's really a gorgeous image, and it came from a little Inuyasha postcard book I bought at Otakon last year ^^

Well, I've made some progress. A lot of the old wallpapers I had, I didn't actually save anywhere, so I'm either having to start over from scratch or not bringing them back. Which is okay I guess, just means I'm going to be re-building on content, so expect a lot of wallpaper updates! Oh yeah, and while messing around with all these 1280 resolutions, I noticed that there really isn't a perceptible difference between using a 1280x960 or a 1280x1024 image as a background. But I'll still continue doing them as 1280x1024, since that's what the stats page registers.

I've finally finished re-doing the site. I kept the layout fairly simple, cause then it's just easier for me to update ^_^ I've also added a few new features, including direct anime downloads, which are going to be short episodes, or promos for up-coming series. That way you guys can keep up to date on that stuff too! Also, sometimes the anime will be replaced with music, depends how I'm feeling. So it's basically just an alternating media feature. Other than that, I've started doing affiliates, and there's also a scan of the day--but don't count on that really being updated every day ^^; Oh yeah, and if you'd like to have a wallpaper you made feature on the site, check out the featured guest section!
Still working to get all the wallpapers up since I'm adding in 1280x1024 and 800x600 resolutions, but it's coming along! Should be completely finished by Sunday night ^_^
